You do not need to shampoo your hair daily.Doing so will make your hair strip out of the essential oils and moisture, and will make your hair dry. Your scalp will start producing more natural oils and if your hair is on the oily side it will get greasier as the scalp will start to produce more oil to replace whats been taken away. Detangling your hair with conditioner on will prevent breakage. Use a wide-toothed comb or a paddle brush.

Hair Care Tips
Hair care tips that will keep your hair looking at it’s best
Since the world began, curly heads wanted to have straight hair and those with straight hair wavy at least, blondes wants to be brunettes, brunette fragile blondes, and besides, who does not envy fiery redhead that attract attention wherever they appear. Nature is cruel, you possess genetic material that does not meet your needs, ideas and visions? Never mind, you're not alone. Unfortunately, we can't go against the nature but following these hair care tips you too can have beautiful hair.
Shampoo your hair only when its dirty
Trim your hair every 6-9 weeks
as a part of of your regular hair routine.Even if you are growing your hair, its still vital to trim your ends before they split. Trimming ends before they split will keep your hair looking healthy and will help in getting your results faster as leaving it for too long without a trim will result in needing to cut off more to keep it split ends free and will take longer to get the desired length.
Pick the right brush for blow-drying
To straighten long, coarse or curly hair pick a large round brush, a medium-sized brush to add body and smoothness to medium to long hair; or a small brush to boost volume to short hair.
Section hair before you style
Want to get professional results? Then use clips to section off your hair. This will dramatically improve your results and you will work in neat and controlled manner.
Nozzle - or a Diffuser?
Make the difference between a great blow-dry and an average one by using the right attachment ! A nozzle directs air-flow evenly on to the brush to give you a smoother blow-dry while diffuser allows you to dry curly or wavy hair without causing frizz.
Tuck those ends under
Smoothing the ends under is essential, otherwise you’ll end up with rough and broken ends ,which is not a look you’d want to go for.
Make sure hair is thoroughly dried before you use any of the hot iron tool, otherwise the heat can cause damage. With one exception: wet to dry flat-irons are specifically designed to be used on
Use the right hair care product for your specific hair type.
If your hair is colour-treated, dry or damaged , use hair care products formulated to repair this damage and add resiliency and much needed shine . If your hair is oily, use a light shampoo and conditioner for oily hair that wont make your hair flop. Dry shampoo is a good way to add a day in between two washes. The right products should be at the base of your hair care routine.Use a blow-drying lotion to protect the hair from the heat and help you with the blow-dry.
Flat Iron
Keep your flat-iron moving. Burned hair will not look good on you. In smooth passes with medium pressure ,move your flat-iron down each section. Starting and stopping, as a well as pressing too hard, can leave “dents” in your hair. GHD is my preferred option.
Hot rollers
Hot rollers are great way to add volume and movement to your hairstyle. Using a tail-comb, lift your section up and roll down toward your scalp, making sure the ends are tucked under so you don’t end up with the scruffy unpolished look. Rollers should be placed on top of the section for a maximum volume. For waves with minimal volume, direct your sections downward and roll up without giving too much of a lift, placing the roller underneath the section.Check out these made by Babyliss .
Choose hair colour that compliment your style
With all of the professional colouring techniques available, this part of your hair care has never been easier. From highlights to soft colour, the right colouring technique can greatly enhance your style.
Protect your hair from the sun and chlorine.
If you are a regular pool swimmer, use a swimming cap, as chlorine will damage your hair. Wet your hair and apply some rich conditioner or a mask and put a swimming cap on. That will help to protect your hair and at the same time act as a treatment. Sun will make your hair dry and fade your colour. Protect your hair with hair care that contain sunscreen.
Curling tongs
Use volumizing heat protective spray and/or mouse for better hold if you’re using curling tongs on freshly washed hair. For just a touch up, a hairspray before the curling will do a magic. Section to appropriate section size depending on the thickness of your curling irons. For stronger curls carefully pin with the clip while still rolled up and let it cool down after curling. After the hair cools down, it will set into the longer lasting curls.
